SAMY Mosher is a director based in Los Angeles. Born in London to an Indonesian dentist and an American journalist, Samy was raised in England, Tokyo and LA. He’s a self–proclaimed “global citizen,” which has always guided and inspired his work. No boundaries or borders.
Graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Samy honed his skills as an editor at the editorial shop, Spotwelders, successfully turned to production working with some of the top production shops in the country. During his time at Anonymous Content and RESET, he served as a creative assistant to prominent directors such as Andrew Douglas, Garth Davis and Guy Ritchie. Samy has gone onto write and direct numerous projects including working alongside commercial director Andrew Douglas on the Bryan Singer produced feature film, uwantme2killhim? directing the film’s second unit.
Samy has won Canne Awards for his web film for Santander Bank and work for Vitamin Water, collaborated with BBH/LA on their Google Play ad and U2 for the Super Bowl spot for (RED) and Bank of America and was the content director filmmaker & photographer of U2’s 2015 Worldwide tour.
